Lord Mayor’s Show by Boat !!

In 2011 the new Lord Mayor of the City of London Alderman David Wootton asked to arrive for the Lord Mayor’s Show by boat, the first time for 156 years.

At the request of the organisers – Thames Traditional Rowing Association – a painting was done by Thames Ditton artist Rod Pearson from photographs taken on the day and high quality Fine Art Giclée prints are now available to participants and those interested in the River Thames and the history of the City of London.

The reproduction of the original watercolour was undertaken by Fine Art Solutions Ltd, where it was scanned at high resolution and printed on 310gsm textured fine art paper to perfectly match the original, which was also framed by Fine Art Solutions, and now resides somewhere in Mansion House…
